Introduction to the Knowledge Base
The DNS check Knowledge Base contains information about each check, its purpose, expected results and how to deal with most anomalies found.
The suggested measures implies that you as a DNSmonitor customer run your own DNS servers, either on-premises or in the cloud and have management access to the servers and its configuration.
For customers running outsourced DNS servers, the measures described are in many ways the same as if you were running your own DNS servers, except that some of the measures need to be taken by the service provider (if they are able and willing to).
