Introduction to the Dashboard guide

Even though we’ve taken the utmost care to form the DNSmonitor dashboard as user friendly and self explanatory as possible, there are still things that might not be as clear to you as it is to us.

This guide will help you navigate and operate the dashboard and possibly shed some light about why it looks like it does. It is our sincere hope that you find this guide useful in your day-to-day job.

Top menu bar

The top menu primarily allows you to navigate between the monitoring dashboard where you can view the monitoring results and the Manage section where you manage the monitoring setup and configuration.

Dashboard menu

The dashoard menu will take you to the Monitoring dashboard where you can inspect the monitoring results in real-time.

Manage

From the manage meny you control all available configurable items, like domains and alerts.

Organisation

Shows which organisation that is currently active. This is helpful in case your user ID is linked to multiple organisations.

Help

In the Help menu you find this Dashboard guide, the DNS check knowledge base and the Getting started guide. You will also find our Contact Support form to be used if you want open a support case.

Legal

In the Legal meny you find our Service Agreement, our Cookie and Privacy policies.

Logout

Used when you wish to end your session and log yourself out.
